At the winery, the grapes were carefully inspected and destemmed, following an intense maturation during the first 48 hours in order to extract all of the best components from the grape skins. The fermentation took place in stainless steel vats with temperature control. Following the traditional Port Wine production method, the fermentation was stopped by adding brandy. The wine was then aged in oak barrels for two years, preventing oxidations.
